Mark Langenfelder 66 of Joppatown, Maryland passed on peacefully to the Lord on July 10, 2026 from an unanticipated illness. He was the beloved father, mentor, and best friend of Josh Langenfelder and his wife Heather; cherished grandfather of JJ, Longin, and Piper; devoted son of the late Kenneth Langenfelder, Sr. and Catherine Langenfelder; loving brother of the late Kenneth "Kenny" Langenfelder, Jr.; he is also survived by other loving family and many dear friends. Mark was the Founder, Owner and CEO of the respected firm Langenfelder Mechanical Family Enterprises, which had its beginnings in 1992.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-9 PM, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private at Loudon Park Cemetery. A Celebration of Mark's Life will be held on a future date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mark's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
