Marlene was born on July 27, 1946 in Baltimore, MD to the late Edward and Marie August. Marlene was devoted to her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. Marlene enjoyed time spent outdoors including planting flowers in her rock garden and even raking leaves. She delighted in spending time together with her sisters and remembering family stories from the past.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Charlene, and her brother, Edward, Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband, Tony, daughter, Lisa Harrison (Dave), sons, Steven Mitchell (Deana), Thomas Mitchell (Kim), grandson Mitchell, granddaughters, Adelina and Allison, and sisters, Joanne Schwarzmann and Peggy Nohe. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236, on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 10AM-12 Noon, where a celebration of Life will be held at 12 Noon.
