Mary Jean Nicholson

Mary was the loving mother of Dawn Nicholson, William Nicholson, Robert Nicholson and his wife Elizabeth. She was also the former wife of Walter Nicholson.

She found immense joy and pride in her role as a grandmother to Jacob Ayd, Autumn Nicholson, Kyra Nicholson, Justin Nicholson, and Mason Nicholson.

Mary is survived by her dear siblings: Robert Cummins and his wife Diane, Norma Hrica and her husband Robert, and Linda Sergi and her husband Tony. She also leaves behind sister-in-law Jackie Cummins, cousin Thelma Moxey, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Norman and Doris Cummins; her brothers Leo (and wife Elaine) and William; and her sister Margaret Tutin (and husband Gilbert).

Her memory will be cherished in the hearts of all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236 on Thursday, July 9, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The funeral service will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home Friday, July 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM. A committal service will be at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, 7401 German Hill Rd. Dundalk, MD 21222.
