On January 23, 2022, Michael Joseph Ayd, Sr. passed away. He was the beloved husband of Phyllis Jane Ayd (nee Parker); devoted father of Jessica Jane Mistr and her husband William “Andy”, and Michael Joseph, Ayd, Jr.; cherished son of Margorie Ayd and the late Robert Ayd; dear brother of Albert Ayd, Cecelia Balman, Dolly Langley, Mary Beth Genovese, Stephen Ayd, William Ayd, Doug Ayd, Gregory Ayd, the late Bobby Ayd and the late Dennis Ayd and their spouses. Michael was very excited to be welcoming his first granddaughter Eva Jane in March. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 12pm to 2 pm, at which time a memorial service will begin. Interment services will be private.
