She was the beloved wife of the late Samuel Okoro Onwukwe; devoted mother of Richard Fletcher (deceased), Sheila Bankole (Bayo Bankole), Caroline Fletcher (deceased), Patrick Fletcher (deceased), George Onwukwe (Irene-deceased), Emmanuel Onwukwe (deceased) (Rosemarie), Augustine Onwukwe (Esther), Samuel Onwukwe (deceased), Rosemary Onwukwe, Helen Akparanta (George Akparanta); loving grandmother of Molly, Nneka, Ricky, Dayo, Tayo, Deola, Brian, Samantha, Norman, Valerie, Tracey, Arnold, Carla, Kisha, Kendra, Alexis, Brandon, David, Nnenna, Elizabeth (Bibi), Augustine, Thelma (Tia), Kyle, Amanda, Ngozi, Valentine, Michael, Obinna, Chima; cherished great grandmother of 32 great grandchildren; also loved and survived by a host of relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 8030 Bradshaw Rd, Kingsville, MD 21087 on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Mountain Christian Church Cemetery, 1824 Mountain Road, Joppa, Maryland 21085.
