On August 2, 2026, after a life filled with love and cherished memories, Nancy Jean Sheckells (nee Gauldin) peacefully went home to be with the Lord. She was the beloved wife of the late Mark Ellis Sheckells; devoted mother of Mark Steven Sheckells and his late wife Phyllis, Lori Lee Reinhardt, George Scott Sheckells and his wife Wendy, and Kevin Duncan Sheckells and his wife Lorri; cherished grandmother of Cara Hagy (Terry), Brandon Reinhardt (Whitney), Lacy Dodge (Robbie), Storm Sheckells (Jacey), Sean Ainsworth (Meredith), Chris Rebbert (Vanessa), Nick Rebbert (Sarah), and Sam Sheckells (Colleen); loving great-grandmother of Taylor (Cory), Trent, Olivia, Amelia, Camden, Neil, Kendall, Arya, Clint, Miles, Drew, Daphne, Georgie, Ellis, and the late Malachi; she is also survived by other loving family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 2-4 PM, where a service will follow at 4PM.
