I remember when my mom planned a surprise birthday house party for me by coordinating through my Classmates. In true fashion, Nick was there along with other close friends, arriving in his car that never seemed to fit all of us in there at any one time! He always had the kind of smile that made you want to smile back, and was always joking around. That night, a friend was sick from having tried to drink and between Nick laughing and trying to console the other friend, it was a sight I’ll never forget! Rest easy, my friend!

When I interviewed for the job at Dreyer’s I met Nick. I immediately found him engaging and funny. He asked me questions about my family, about my favorite sports team and also about my dog. He even asked about his name. A cooler of ice cream was sent to my house. In the cooler were ice cream treats for my family and our dog. On the dog’s box was a post it note that said: “To Dash.” My family and I loved the note and enjoy telling people it. Nick had a great way of adding just the right touch to make things a little better. Nick will be missed.
