On March 24 of 2019 my beloved husband Norman passed away peacefully at home. We were married for 31 years and I cannot put in words the love and friendship we had. We endured Alzheimer's Disease for 10 years in our home together. And I miss him so.
The Gilchrist Hospice nurses, VA and Gilchrist Aides, social worker and chaplain that helped me understand what was going on and the care they gave my husband and myself was beyond what could have been done at any facility.
These God sent caretakers are the best of the medical field they are there for me as well as Norman, they will forever have my gratitude.
Thank you our dear friends Gene and Gail Stewart. There are angels who walk among us.
In this moment, there is no anxiety, no depression, no regrets, and no worries. He is now in God's hands. In this moment, there is peace, there is beauty, there is love.
Norman leaves his wife, Prudence Ann Geisel, his son Norman H. Geisel, Jr. who predeceased him in death and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery, his daughter Susan Little (Bill), his three step-children Guy, Bill, and Laura, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
