I dated Pete way back in my twenties.  I was so shy and backward in those days.  Pete was such a fun loving person.  It was so much fun to be in his presence.  Life was good with him.  I'm sorry we drifted apart.  I'm so sad he has left this Earth.  I know he is in Heaven telling his jokes.  What a man























Pete was such a wonderful person to be with - back in the day we dated.  My family loved him because it was easy for Pete to capture everyone's hearts.  My daughter, Regina, remembers him fondly, too.  I know he is in heaven with our Lord, now.  My sorrow comes from not having seen him one more time.  With love and prayers, Barbara

 In September 1999, Pete entered the Order of the Most Holy Trinity, commonly called the Trinitarians which was founded in 1198 in France. August 2000, he entered their novitiate to study and take his first vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. He was successful during the first year of study, in Victoria Texas, ending in August 2001, at which time he returned to Baltimore and continued his theological studies towards ordination to be a priest at Saint Mary's Seminary, Baltimore. At the same time, he did his Clinical Pastoral Education at Saint Joseph's Hospital/Medical Center in Towson for the next three years. He was starting to realize his studies for the priest were more difficult then he realized so he pursued the possibilities of being a brother in the same order. In 2004, he and the Order mutually agreed the theological studies were more difficult for Peter than he thought, mostly due to his age, so he withdrew on good terms from the Order. To this day, 9/3/2013, he remained in close contact with several priests he knew in the Order and went to weekly Mass and shared many dinners with the Trinitarians up until his death. Peter was also a lector and volunteer at the Baltimore Basilica, especially during the Basilica's recent major renovation. We all will miss Pete. May he rest in peace.

What a wonderful, warm and generous man!  You were there for me when I needed a kind heart - there are no words to thank you for your support and caring. You are always in my prayers. I know that with your strong faith and spirit you have found a better home.  With a heart full of gratitude and love.

Pete attended Saint Dominic Catholic Elementary School in Northeast Baltimore, Hamilton area, 1951 to graduation 1959. He then went to Calvert Hall College High School 1959 and graduated in 1963. I believe he spent two years at the old Calvert Hall on Cathedral and Mulberry Streets and for his last two years at Calvert Hall he was at the present location on La Salle Road in Towson, when Calvert Hall College High School moved in September 1960. Pete was very active in the Student Government Association and took the leadership role in getting a new folk singing group to perform at Calvert Hall's auditorium. The group had just released their first album, titled, Peter, Paul, and Mary, released in May 1962. During Peter's senior year they performed at Calvert Hall College High School. Thanks to Peter. Rumor has it Peter, Paul and Mary thought Calvert Hall College was actually a college!  Peter graduated in 1963. Recently, he attended his 50th anniversary of his graduation from Calvert Hall College High School.

Peter was an active member of The Towson Ancient order of Hibernians. He will be missed by all the members who had the pleasure to know him. Peter always had a warm smile and he was easy to get along with. 
  Peter will best be known for working the Maryland Irish Festival the entire weekend. Peter along with his buddy Butch Cougle made sure the corned beef was trimmed and cut to perfection. We miss you Peter.

I have had the honor and pleasure of spending 40 hours a week for the last 8 years in your company.  You have been a great friend and co-worker and I feel truly blessed to have had you in my life.  You loved life, people and talking on the phone, and made work a lot more fun.  When you left the office everyday, you would say, "See you tomorrow, God Willing".  When I asked you why you said that, you said "If it's God's Will then I will be back tomorrow and if it isn't, then I won't."  I am sure you are in Heaven with your family and friends that have passed on before you but it doesn't make me miss you any less.  My heartfelt condolences go out to your entire family.

You will be missed in many ways. You made my experiences with premiums and claims so easy. Great insurance people are hard to come by and you were the best. Thanks for sharing good times with us at Bill's and I enjoyed talking to you about my travel adventures. You are in a better adventure now. Just one question, can you always watch over us?

Pete....I am going to miss you. We had so much fun working together when you volunteered for me at Maryland Public Television.  You always had a great attitude and were a good friend.  We had lots of fun times which will not be forgotten. Hope you found a good Irish place in Heaven to hang out!
