Generous with his time, a calm, low keyed man who led by example. Randy will be missed.

I have a lot of good memories working on medics in a bay next to Randy for many years. He always had a positive attitude and always did the right thing. I'll also remember all his and Irene's travel adventures. God Bless.

Randy lived his life with a big heart and a warm smile. Randy taught me not to sweat the small stuff, and to see the bigger world around me.

During our two year tag-team leadership of Flotilla 22-08 as FC and VFC, we made the flotilla a warm and inviting environment. Randy led the transition of the unit from the Joppatowne library to our new home at the VFW.

But beyond all of his professional skillsets, Randy was first and foremost a friend. His life experiences gave him a much deeper understanding of life around us, and his fondness for honey bees always provided a sweet touch.

Randy, you are greatly missed.

Randy or Randall as uncle bunk would call him was a lovin g person. I always lived his smile. Now he is in heaven and can go hunting with his dad.

Randy lived with gusto, joy, and kindness. He should not have been taken from us at such a young age. But, he was....and it doesn't seem right. We will miss his sense of adventure and can-do attitude. We are inspired by his life and will consider future challenges as opportunities, as he would have. Goodbye for now, Randy.

Randy always had a smile ready for you. I can't ever remember hime not smiling when he greeted you. And always had a kind word for everyone. He will be missed at fire maintenance.

Randy was a great friend and help to all of us in the Fire Department for many years. He was a true asset to Fire Maintenance and always went above and beyond to help out. Godspeed, my friend...

Randy and I worked and traveled together for over twenty years inspecting Baltimore County's Fire Department equipment. These inspections led us from Ohio, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Georgia, South Caroline, and Florida. We probably booked over 150,000 miles and inspected close to a thousand Engines, Trucks, and Ambulances. Randy was a great travel partner and a great friend. Randy was also a very kind and gentle man always ready to help and never expecting anything in return. I don't think I ever met anymore quite like Randy. He will be missed dearly. I'm sure we will meet again someday.
