Richard “Rick” Insley Marks, age 73, of Oliver Beach, MD, passed away on August 30, 2024, with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Kathy Agnes Marks (nee Garayoa); devoted father of Richard Wharton Marks, and Rachael Agnes Marks and her fiancée Gary Pierce; cherished son of the late Wharton and Annette Marks; dear stepson of Martha Marks; loving brother of Wharton Marks and his wife Kelly, Rose Bowen, Tommy Marks, Evelyn Marks, and the late Denise Lewis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 2-9 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 11 A.M., at the funeral home. Interment at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 11:30 A.M.
