It seems like it was only yesterday. You are still very so missed.
It still does not feel real. I pray for your family. May you rest in peace.

I miss you Ronda. My love for you is eternal and I will see you again some day. Thank you for 34 years you gave me. 

I thought of my childhood friend last night. I looked her up because I wanted to send her a card and found she had passed. I last saw Ronda 16 years ago when my sister passed.  Life just got in the way over the years, but I thought of Ronda often. 
She was my very first friend that I grew up with and it lasted into our late teens. The Young family had 2 girls 3 boys, the McGee family had 2 boys & 3 girls and we only lived a few houses apart.  When I was 12, my family moved an hour away and we still stayed connected and shared many memories. 
I am truly saddened by her passing. My prayers to Wescoat and Young family. Heaven gained an Angel for sure. 


She was the best mother I ever could have asked for. I loved her to the moon and back, and I’m definitely going to miss my Mommy. She was the strongest person I’ve ever known, and even until the very end she kept her head up and her heart strong. She always had a good sense of humor and I won’t ever forget the special memories we had and all the laughs we shared. The world was truly blessed to have her, and I was blessed to be her child. She meant everything to me, and I want her to know that. I hope she’s having fun in heaven with Poppop, Mommom, and Blue, and hopefully she won’t get too bored up there without me to annoy her. I’ll make sure to save her a slice of DeNiro’s pizza when the time comes to see her again.

I was shocked to hear that Ronda passed away - much, much too soon.  I was not close with her, but am very saddened by this news.  I have many fond memories of the Young family from the old days back on Southern Avenue and just remember her having a beautiful spirit.  I see from the beautiful posts on this web page that Ronda got to have a beautiful family, and I am so glad for this.  My heart goes out to her Husband and Daughters, and to the entire Westcoat and Young families.

From the first day you started @ Peds oh did we bump heads with your facial expression and my mouth. BUT after we took the time to get to know each other we were the best supervisor and team lead combo. We were even neighbors. My mom would come to my house and say every time I ride through the neighborhood it’s this lady outside and she’s always making faces. I said that is Ronda lol. My mom loved Ronda.

Ronda became more than my supervisor she was my friend. We always talked about our girls. We could confide in each other and it was never a judgement zone with Ronda you could tell her anything and it was NEVER repeated. Thank you Ronda for all the knowledge, the advice, and the venting session. I’m going to miss you so much.

Mommy, you truly were the strongest person I’ve ever known. No matter what you faced, you always looked on the positive side and had a smile on your face. I could not have asked for a better mom. I always knew I could come to you for anything no matter what. I’m going to miss your hugs so much. 

Ronda, its hard put into words how much you have meant to me over our 34 years together. We created a beautiful family and you were the center of it all. Through thick and thin you were always there for us.  You are my soulmate and one true love. You were an excellent mother and wife to say the least. I could not have asked more from you.  I will always love you and will see you on the other side one day. I miss you so much it hurts!

Like mom you were one of the special souls that enhanced and inspired our lives. Like dad you were honest, straightforward, and always willing to help. They both would have been so proud of how you dealt with your diagnosis. The only thing we get to control in this life is how we react and you were outstanding. I hope you get a good seat in heaven to watch your girls from because I know they're going to turn out great. You were a fantastic mom and I bet you're going to be an even better angel. I would say rest with the angels, but we both know you're not the resting type. So I'll just go with see you just hopefully not too soon

To a wonderful person who was always willing to help everybody. You were a walking book of knowledge always smiling, you were one of the  first people who welcomed me to the Physician Billing Office . I remember my first day there and the knowledge you shared and the training you provided. You are a very special lady you will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family..



From meeting at work and getting into trouble for talking too much to becoming the most special friend to me and my family! I love you girl and you will truly be missed! The news hit hard yesterday. Know that your girls and David and the rest of your precious family are in our prayers. I look forward to seeing you on the other side my beautiful friend!

You were one of the ones that welcomed me when I came to work at University in 2009.  You taught me so much during our time we worked together.  We had many of laughs along the way too.
