Rosalia Piraino DiStefano

October 14, 1911January 8, 2013

On January 8, 2013, Rosalia DiStefano (nee Piraino), 101, passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Pasquale DiStefano; dear mother of Stefana Gelso and her husband Giuseppe and the late Luige DiStefano and his wife Vera; loving sister of the late Salvatrice Fatta; she is also survived by five loving grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd. (at Forge Rd) on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church on Saturday at 10:30 am. Entombment to follow at the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. In liue of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Maryland Chapter, 1850 York Rd. Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093. Stefanie and Joe, Angela and Family, and Melinda and Family, and Joey and Family. We are so sorry for your loss of dear Nonna Rosalie. We all loved her dearly.
