Rosemarie Josephine Durkin

On October 27, 2018, Rosemarie Josephine Durkin (nee Moore) passed away. She was the beloved wife, of 55 years, of James "Jim" Edward Durkin; loving daughter of the late James and Rosemarie Moore; devoted mother of Martin P. Durkin and his partner Bruce L. Fink, and Kevin M. Durkin and his wife Vicki; dear sister of James S. Moore and his wife Kathy; cherished sister-in-law of the late Harold R. Durkin and his wife Josephine, and Richard R. Durkin. Rosemarie is also survived by her dear sister-in-law Erma Durkin, as well many loving extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236, on Friday, November 2, 2018, from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10am at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Fullerton, MD). Interment services will follow at the St. Joseph Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Rosemarie’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association 1850 York Rd., Ste.
