My dear Sharon. I miss you so much. I know you are enjoying heaven with your Mom, Dad, and brother, Michael, and I’m sure there are lots of laughs going on up there. But I miss our friendship, our lunches, dinners, shopping, laughing, funny stories, and most of all, my precious  friend. I Love you always my sweet friend. Rest in peace with the angels! Until we meet again!

So very sorry to hear of your loss. I was a friend of Mike Riess and remember the shock and loss of his sudden death in November 1971. I fondly remember Sharon who wrote a lonely GI away from home in 1970 . Letters are a great gift to anyone in the military  away from home and much appreciated. Again, please extend my condolences to your family.

Dear Tim, Michael and David,

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Sharon.  She was a beautiful person on the inside and out and we will truly miss her.  We cherished her friendship and the great memories we shared.  Some of my best times with her were at bowling.  The best part of bowling was being a part of a great team that included Sharon.  She always made us laugh and we all had a great time.  It was never really about winning, but all about sharing time together laughing and having fun.  "Those were the days!"  It was during that summer at bowling that Mark and I met and Sharon was right there with us.  So the fact that she was in our wedding made it even more special.  It meant a lot to us that she was a part of our special day.  She was a special lady in so many ways and we loved her.  

We pray you can find peace and comfort in all your wonderful memories and in knowing Sharon is your guardian angel who will always be watching over you.

Dear Tim, Michael, & David,

We were so sadden by Sharon’s passing.  We have felt so blessed to have Tim and Sharon as our next door neighbors.  

It was obvious to us  that the three of you were the center of Sharon’s  life and she loved you all with all her heart. She was proud to be your wife Tim and  proud to be a mom of your sons. 
Sharon was a very kind & caring lady and her legacy now lives on through  Michael  and David……

Words can't even begin to do you justice; Mom you were always there for me no matter what. Through good and bad and even times I didn't know you were helping me. No matter what the issue no matter how trivial it was you were always there to listen and give advice. I will miss you every day.  I just hope you'll look down and see I was listening all the time and may actions make you proud to be my mother. I couldn't had asked for better mother or father a perfect balance. I adored Sharon. I will cherish her storytelling and sense of humor. She was a kind caring, person. Often, she and JoAnn Brooks would stop by my desk to visit, I appreciated the break from my work. Sharon could make me laugh so hard, that my tummy would hurt! I will remember her for her intelligence, warmth, and kindness. RIP, Sharon, you are loved.

Sharon has been in my life my whole life.  There were the early years when I was little and she seemed so much older than me (really, only 5 years older).  She gave me my first guitar to start taking lessons.  In later years, our moms, who were best friends as well as sisters in law, were unable to get together anymore.  So Sharon and I would take them out to a restaurant for a visit.  That's where we connected again.  Even after the mom's passed away, we continued to meet up whenever I was in Maryland.  Sharon was so funny.  I will always remember how kind she was and her sense of humor.  Tim - you and the boys are in our prayers.  Will miss her so much. 

Dearest Sharon, you have been my forever friend since we met at Seton High School. You are the kindest, caring, most loving person and I will miss you dearly. You brought so much sunshine and love to my life and everyone who’s lives you touched. Rest In Peace my dear friend! Fly high with the angels! Love you forever! 

My cousin Sharon was one of the kindest and most loving person you will ever meet. She was always happy and cheerful, you couldn’t help but to be happy when you were around her. Growing up our families were always spending time together and we would play for hours. So many good memories that I will always hold close to my heart. You will be deeply missed.

Sharon Rhors (Reiss) was my much loved first cousin!  I am so sad and grieved about her passing and send my condolences to immediate family, I can only imagine the pain and hurt everyone feels.  Sharon was an older cousin, but always extremely kind to me, always positive, and always encouraging me and I am sure many hundreds or even thousands of other people!  My Mom, God rest her soul, was extremely close to Sharon and her brother Michael, God rest both of their souls, and their parents, my Uncle Charles and Aunt Vera,  God rest their souls too.  I remember even from early childhood during visits, she always so kind and generous.  During the past several years, we always loved get togethers at Christmas season, along with my older sister Diane Flower.  I am saddened because she was the one and only cousin from my Mom's German Reiss side of family with whom I still maintained a very positive, ongoing relationship.  Sharon was also very helpful as I wanted to learn more of our German ancestry, sharing valuable information.  As an eastern Orthodox Christian, I will remember Sharon in my prayers, knowing that her Christian faith will receive the rewards of Christ in His Kingdom of Heaven! In conclusion, I also want to send my sincere condolences to Timothy Rhors, a great man...Sharon's beloved husband.  Also, my condolences to Michael Rohrs and partner. Ida Brooks, and David Rohrs, and all family and friends who share in this grief and loss over such a compassionate, caring, and great woman!  She will always be in my memories!  And in my prayers to Christ, to help give His healing during these extremely difficult and grievous time, to her immediate family, and to all the many many others who are saddened by this great loss of an outstanding, spiritual, and beautiful woman!  She was a true German woman!  I am humbled by my inability to give any easy answers with such a tragic situation!  I can only suggest trying to hang in there and never forget her life legacy!  

To my loving wife: It is so hard to put into words the love that I have for you. Sharon, you will be in my heart forever. I adore you.  I am the luckiest man alive that you choose me to spend your life with. I am forever grateful for the times we shared and the family that we raised. You are my best friend and I loved doing everything together with you. I am so thankful that we got to go on our vacation last month to Aruba. We had the best of times. You are the most beautiful, loving and caring person that I have ever met. I will miss you so much. I will strive to be the man that you loved. I miss you and will always love you. Love forever, Tim

Sharon was like a mother to me. She was so kind, dedicated and did so much for everyone close to her. You are truly missed Sharon I love you.

Sharon and I were friends since grade school at St. Dominic's.  Sharon was full of life. She was a faithful, generous friend who kept in touch, gave a listening ear when needed, showed understanding when it mattered.  Lifelong friends are rare ...
