I will miss Shirley dearly.  So soft spoken and kind.  From the day I met her husband bowling and all the shorts I asked you to sew for me over the years have left humor in our friendship.  You had a wonderful laugh.  I valued our friendship.

So many years have passed since we met that first day in Jr. High School.  We shared lots of fun times back then.  So many great memories.  It has been great having you as a friend for 70 years.  I will miss our long talks.

Thank you for being my friend and helping me out with Crystal. We had a lot of laughs and some tears. Until we meet again. Rest easy.

Shirley was one of the first people I met at PHMS.  She always had a warm smile and gentle spirit in our close work together.  Family was always a priority for her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at the loss of this devoted lady.

Shirley and I shared the same March 4th birthday and we had a warm, caring and special relationship as a result.  She was always sweet, friendly and welcoming to everyone in the faculty and staff.  She was a talented seamstress and made several beautiful outfits for me to wear.  I enjoyed those times in Shirley's and Jimmy's lovely home during the fittings.  
I wish beautiful memories of her for the grieving family to warm their hearts during this difficult time.  She will be watching over you with love.

I remember that Shirley was one of the people that made PHMS the friendly place it was!!  I don't remember her ever getting mad and she had plenty to get mad about!!  I retired in 1992 but still have fond memories of Shirley!!!!

When I first came to Perry Hall Middle in 1996, Shirley was like a mother to me, so welcoming and warm! We stayed in touch over the years after she retired through Christmas cards and phone calls.  She loved her family dearly.  Shirley will be missed by all!

Shirley was one of the kindest, sweetest, loving souls God put on this earth. She was and is one of heaven's most lovely angels. My love for all time.
