Sophie Hargest

On October 1, 2016, Sophie Hargest (nee Szlachetka) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Earl Michael Hargest; devoted mother of Julia C. Dumps and her husband Jeffrey, Sr., and Doris Burdette Insley and her late husband Stephen; loving grandmother of Jeffrey Dumps, Jr. and his wife Rachel, Jennifer Dumps and her fiancé Eric Brose, and John Dumps; cherished great-grandmother of Sophia Dumps and Jeffrey Dumps, III; dear sister of Adam Shelly and his late wife Blanche. Sophie was predeceased by 4 sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Miller-Dippel Funeral Home 6415 Belair Rd, Baltimore, MD 21206, on Wednesday October 5th from 3-5 and 7-9pm. Further visitation will be held on Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church (Harford RD, MD) from 9-10am with a funeral service to follow at 10:30am. Interment will be at Moreland Memorial Park .
