My Aunt Stella was a determined, capable woman, full of love and hospitality. More than anything else, she loved her children and did everything in her power to support them. I always knew that she could cook for the masses and pick crabs with her eyes closed. If I enquired about family history, she could provide details — and dates. What I never knew until recently was how artistic she was, and that was a delightful surprise. She has been an important part of our family and an involved mother and grandmother. Her gentle passing has left a gaping hole behind. I am counting the days until I see her again, but until that time will miss her very much.

I love you, Aunt Stella., as did everyone you met.

I was so saddened at my dear Aunt Stella's passing. I will always remember her love of family and what a caring and compassionate person she was. I was always impressed that she remembered my birthday every year! I also considered my Aunt Stella as the "matriarch" of the Brusca family. Whenever I needed / wanted to find out something about the Brusca side of the family, I would ask her and she always knew the answer! She will be dearly missed and forever in my memory.

So sorry to say goodbye to Aunt Stella. She was a beautiful lady in every way. Always remembered me at Christmas with some of her delicious Italian cookies. A real class act.
