She was the most caring mother, friend, and family member anyone could ask for. A devout Catholic, her faith was an important part of her life. She found happiness in the simple things she loved most, from her love of butterflies and cruising up and down the Ocean City boardwalk to baking for the holidays and making memories with the people she loved.
Her love was unconditional, her heart was beautiful, and the impact she made on those around her will never be forgotten. Though she may no longer be by our side, her love will live on in our hearts forever.
Viewing arrangements will be shared here for those who wish to pay their respects and celebrate her beautiful life.

Teresa is the treasured daughter of the late Nancy and Pietro Taravella; devoted mother of Joseph Taravella (Krystal); dear sister Rose Marie Kane (Edward); and especially proud of her cherished grand-dog Rocco; she is also survived by many family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236, on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Fullerton). Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
