I've just heard of my friend, Tom's, passing. I'm at a loss for words, but send my prayers and hugs to Susan. Tom was a mentor, a work partner, and just an all around good friend.

Words can't express how saddened I am that Tom passed. Tom had a special way to make people feel important and welcome.  He was a friend and a mentor who could always shed a bright light on any situation.  My prayers and condolences to his wife Sue and family.  He deeply loved you and had light in his eye every time he spoke of you. 
It's not often you meet someone with a kind soul like his. You will be missed my friend. RIP in your castle in the sky Tom.

I have known Tom for only a short period of time since he took his position at Charter Communications in So California. He definetly was a stand up guy that you knew he had your back. Excellant Leader and was becoming a true friend. I'm very sad for the Families loss. Do know that he is well respected in his profession and had a wealth of experience and knowledge that he genorously shared with all. I will truly miss him and pray that God will Bless his Family!

Tom was a coworker, a mentor, and a dear friend.  When I moved to Virginia I didn't know anyone. Tom brought me into his home and family where I had the privilege of meeting some of the best people I know. I will always be great full for that.  Tom will be missed by many, but he will always live on in our memories.

I had the opportunity to work with Tom over the last couple of years.  He always made you feel like a friend!  My condolences go out to his family.  He will be missed!

Tom was a customer of mine and I greatly enjoyed working with him. He had a calm demeanor and always worked hard to encourage folks to work well together and to respect each other's viewpoint and position. I had several meetings with him over the last few months and had the chance to have some dialog about personal life interests such as motorcycle riding - we shared some good bike stories and talked about our favorite trips - really sad to hear of Tom's passing and I offer my condolences, thoughts and prayers' to Tom's family.

Was saddened to hear of Tommy's passing, remembering some good times growing up in the Baltimore area.  Sorry we couldn't make the funeral service, but know that you've all been in our prayers and thoughts.

I had an opportunity to work with Tom, for a short time in California. Tom, was a very caring and inspirational co-worker, you will be missed by many!!!  My deepest condolences to his wife Sue, and his family and friends.

Tom was my 2nd cousin and we had some great times together,My late wife Wanda and I would spend the night together with Tom & Sue when they lived in Virginia and they would spend the night at our home also sometimes,we all enjoyed a lot of good times,Tom was a good man and husband,I will miss you cuz,God Bless You,Love Kelvin

When my husband and I were looking for a place to escape Hurricane Katrina, Tom and Sue said we could stay in their hotel room with them and their two cats.  It was extremely nice of them to put up with us for a week in a crowded room during a stressful time and we will be forever grateful!  When we returned home, Tom made 2-3 trips into Jefferson parish each day to fuel up the generator at Cox cable so we would continue receiving cable service.  Traveling was very difficult at that time because of damage and road blocks between parishes to check IDs.  Tom did this out of the goodness of his heart and his neighbors appreciated his efforts.  Not just anyone would do that day after day after day.  He was always a great neighbor and friend!  Sue, you have my deepest sympathy.  It was obvious how much you loved each other and I am so sorry for your loss!  My condolences to all of his family and friends.   You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the pleasure to know Tom when he moved to the West coast, only wish I had more time with the man I called "brother".  He helped me understand the changes occurring in my Son as he became a soldier in the USMC. He loved his wife so deeply and showed his soft side when he confided how much he worried about Sue and the cats making that long drive all alone. He shared a wealth of information with me from his past work experiences and I know of his alter ego HULK when confronted by rude people in airport. He introduced me to true Southern humor via Shirley Q and had a great sense of humor and infectious laugh.He will be greatly missed, my prayers are with you Sue.

Tom and Sue were awesome neighbors and Rita and are proud to have them as good friends forever.  Tom, you will be missed but never far from our thoughts.

I only worked with Tom for the past year but shared many things in common and we had an instant bond.  Something about chewing the same dirt on the same trail of life that brings people close and you just know who has your back.   His sense of humor was quick, his patience was long and his compassion was sincere.  My world is a bit dimmer with his passing.  I'll raise a glass of Dickel to you my friend, and hope you are doing the same for me.  I still owe you a bottle!  Till we meet again.

I first met Tom when he was in Reno. Our business relationship continued when he transferred to Los Angeles. We shared quite a bit of time together, and a lot of stories (all true). Tom was a very kind, likable, professional, helpful person and always made time for me when I was in town. Whenever in personal discussions, Tom always spoke of his family and how much in love he was with his wife. I have already missed Tom and think of him often. It's not often you find a friend like Tom. RIP, Tom.

I was so sorry to hear that Tom passed away. He was a great light in the world. He always made me laugh! My heart and prayers go out to Tom's wife, daughter, mother, and sisters. Bless you!!

Tom knew me better than I did. I am so very very sorry.

Tom was the greatest! When we moved into the neighborhood he was the first one who greeted us & then called his wife, Sue out to meet us & who is one of my best friends ever. They came over & we played games at the table, Tom also got me to appreciate the taste of a good steak that was cooked to perfection! He taught me how to do many projects around the house & I always enjoyed learning from him, even if I did almost electrocute myself & Sue while trying to put in a ceiling fan, he had lots of patience with us girls. You always knew that if you got stuck on figuring out a problem he would help you make it work. He loved motorcycle riding & had a green thumb with his lawn. He was so in love with Sue & she with him. Tom was the best neighbor & friend anybody could have. Rest in peace Tom! Joe & I will never forget you!

I was shocked to hear this news of Tom's passing. He was a great friend and leader. As an Engineer I learned so much from him which helped me get to where I am today. I still have the Guitar I bought from him years ago and will keep it forever. He will be missed

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Tom's passing.  He's the reason that to this day I am not afraid to get on the back of a motorcycle!  He gave me my first ride back when I was a young girl.  Recently I rode on a friend's bike and thought back to that first ride with Tom, remembering how much fun it was and that it was not scary at all.  That memory was the only reason I agreed to a ride decades later.  Thank you, Tom, for giving me with such a positive experience so long ago.   Heaven's highways are waiting for you – ride on!

I was deeply saddened by the news of Tom's passing. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I only knew Tom for a short time but I found him to be a strong leader and very caring to the people that worked for him. He will be sorely missed.

Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, know that Tom made many friends here at Charter, he always has a friendly smile and a kind word to say. Tom will truly be missed.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his lovely wife and sisters whom he always spoke highly of. It is unfortunate Tom had to part so soon. May you take comfort in knowing an angel will be watching over you.

Hard for any of us to understand. Tom was a great friend, a person whom I brought into several companies over the years, as he was a talented engineer and leader. I miss you already! You are a true friend.

I am greatly saddened to hear of Tom  passing. Tom and I were roommates for 3 years in California in the 80s. We worked in the same repair facility fixing communications equipment in the Marine Corps 1st Marines, 9th Com battalion. Lots of times in the field, bars, and motorcycles. As fate would have it we also shared the Cable industry in our professional lives, him as a cable operator, and me in a technical sales capacity. I will miss him greatly!

Sweet is the memory of distant friends! Like the mellow rays of the departing sun, it falls tenderly, yet sadly, on the heart. Tom, you will be missed!!

I only had an opportunity to know Tom for a short time when he came to Charter Communications in Irwindale, CA. Always friendly, he would take time out of his busy schedule to come by and say hello to nearly everyone in the office each day. Every Friday when he'd make his rounds he would ask about our plans in hopes to gain an idea or two of what to do or where to go with his wife since he was fairly new to the area. He left us too early but not before leaving a great team to carry his torch.

There are no words I can say which can adequately express this loss of a friend and comrade. 

Tom will be missed in ways my words will fail to illuminate, and anyone who had the pleasure of working with him will know what I mean. I have known Tom for over a decade and was fortunate enough to work with Tom. I benefited from his wisdom and wit as well and his alter ego Bruce Banner/HULK.
Those of you who know him will understand what I mean. 


We will never forget you sir.
