Thomas Patrick O'Hara

On June 23, 2019, Thomas Patrick O’Hara passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Dorothea Mary O’Hara (nee Shipley); devoted father of Julia E. O’Hara, Thomas J. O’Hara and his wife Lori, Roseann C. Griffin and her husband Frank, and Charles P. O’Hara; loving grandfather of Megan J. Boyer and her husband James, Thomas P. O’Hara and his wife Alexis, Emma C. Berk, Colleen G. Berk, Nicholas R. Griffin, and Grace O’Hara Griffin; cherished great-grandfather of Brooke A. O’Hara; dear brother of Lawrence O’Hara, and the late Rosemary O’Hara, Helen Livengood, Ann Sears, Mary Rose Molloy, and Catherine Shelpack. Thomas is also survived by many loving extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, June 27th, from 10am to 12pm; at which time a service will begin. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Tom’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
