Mary Ellen, my heart goes out to you and your entire family. We just heard about Tommy and can not believe he is gone. He played baseball with our sons and was coached by my husband. Tommy always made us laugh and was a joy to be around. He always came up with the funniest things. What a tragedy.

We did not know Tom well, mostly from his musings on .org.  We did have the pleasure of meeting him while at Furthur Fest in California a few years ago.  He was a passionate, funny guy.   We were shocked and incredibly saddened to hear of his passing.  Such a young and bright light gone from our midst so soon.  We were blessed for the time he was with us. So sorry for your families loss. He was way too young to be gone. But he is in a better place for sure. may Peace be with you. Tom you always wanted to see Jerry in person now is your chance give him a hug for me.

Tom was so much fun to be with.  I enjoyed many a Summer having Tom come up to the Philadelphia area to go various Grateful Dead related concerts.  We tailgated, talked, listened to him play guitar, but most importantly, we laughed.  He will be missed as part of our ratdog.org community.  He was more than just a friend, he was our brother.  He will be sorely missed.

To the Wallace Family, Tom is already missed and there are no words I can compose that can express my sympathy. He was a seeker of the songs unsung. There is no higher place in our communtiy to which he could have ascended. Peace always and I know that love will see you through.

Dear Mary Ellen and Family - Tom was an amazing individual.  He was always eager to share his knowledge, passion, humor, and overall goodwill with everyone that he encountered.  He welcomed me as a friend as soon as we had met.  He has influenced my life in so many ways and will always continue to do so.  I will always remember lounging on the beach, while he and his friends played guitar and mandolin.  I imagine him and Doc Watson strumming Martin guitars on the beach and mountainside in Heaven.

Dear Wallace Family, We are very sorry for your loss and have had you in our thoughts since we heard the news.  Tom blessed our lives back in the summer of 2004. We spent many shows along the east coast reconnecting with him over the next several years.  Tom was always passionate, happy, trustful and a pleasure to be around.
