On August 11, 2026, Tim Burke passed away surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Debbie Burke; devoted father of Shannon Kaiser, Casey Burke, Darby Davis, Brie Delimont, and Corey Glowacki; cherished grandfather of William, Aspen, Brian, Tatum, Presley, Ava, River, Keely, and Keegan; loving great-grandfather of Sawyer; beloved son of the late Chuck and Nancy Burke; devoted brother of Mary Ellen Bergin, Kathy Light, Tom Steinbrickner, Michael Burke, and the late Pat Burke; dear brother-in-law of Susan Ikenberry; he is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews, many friends and former players.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Monday, August 17, 2026 and Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Parkwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, following Tim’s wishes for no flowers to be sent, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (www.pcrf.net), Hope 4 Paws Humane Society (www.hope4pawshs.org), or any humane society of your choice.
