Vendel Katona

On January 26, 2022, Vendel Katona passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Katona (nee Brown); devoted father of Terry Katona, Michael Katona and his wife Lisa, and David Katona and his wife Megan; loving grandfather of Kaylee, Mitchell, and Isabella Katona; cherished brother-in-law of Michael Brown and his wife Carolyn. Vendel was predeceased by eleven siblings. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, from 11 AM to 1 PM, at which time a memorial service will begin. Interment will be private.
