Vernon Marshall Byrd

Vernon Marshall Byrd, age 84, of Baltimore, MD, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on February 3, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Jeanette Marie Byrd (nee Buric); devoted father of Elizabeth Vivian Nygren and her husband Paul, Timothy M. Byrd, and the late David Vernon Byrd; loving grandfather of Tiffany (Joshua), Brianna (Clayton), Rachael (Mike),Timothy (Hope), and Matthew; cherished great-grandfather of James, Kimberly, Joshua, and Jessica; dear brother of Cleida Brewer and her late husband Henry, the late Norman Byrd and his late wife Lilla Mae, and the late Mary Vaughan and her late husband Wilbur Lee. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. Further visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 10-11 A.M., at the Grace Bible Baptist Church,1518 N. Rolling RD, Catonsville, MD 21228, with a service to begin at 11 A.M. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
