Sorry to hear about Wayne, he was a gentle man. I enjoyed our talks at Seven Oaks Senior Center in the Gym. My prayers go to Verna, and his family. RIP Wayne.

Unfortunately I never had the pleasure of meeting Wayne but I've been good friends with his son Tom for a long time. If the character of the son says anything to the man who made him, then its pretty evident that he was a great man. I offer my deepest condolences.

Great memories from St. Ambrose and growing up with Wayne as a good friend. Was good to see you at the last reunion.

6 months ago I was working 3 blocks from our old neighborhood in  Pimlico, and stopped to visit the street where we grew up , which was only 8 rowhouses all attached. Seeing your house brought memories of things we did (like Christine wrote in her note about you.) Thought how we climbed pear trees in Campbell’s field, the apple tree in Malone’s yard, and walking and playing on the Western Maryland train tracks. Also thought of all the trips to Jake’s corner store to buy candy and return deposits for Pepsi bottles and then go to Lucille park to play on the “big” swings. The church  across the alley is still there. We played stickball for many hours on the wall of the office building of Sober Electric Co. I also took a quick trip to St. Ambrose and remembered how you, Sammy Finazzo and I walked back and forth to school for 8 years. Sorry we can’t share those memories in person, but our lives moved us in directions apart.  Happy to see you stayed married to Verna,  a classy lady. (How did you pull that off?)  Your children and grandchildren will be a legacy to your memory.

My late husband, Jimmy Sanza, and Wayne were childhood friends. We always enjoyed time spent with Wayne and Verna, especially with Steve and Betty in Bethany Beach.  Love and prayers to the family

I have known Wayne since we were children. I can recall the many moments of our friends playing hide and seek and the other games we as children played. 
I will miss Wayne but he is in Heaven  with many, including my mom. Rest in peace Wayne, we love you and will miss you.

I am so going to miss seeing Wayne. He was always so nice, and funny. Such a gentleman. Mike liked him too. I wonder what mischief they will get up to in heaven. Verna, Tommy and Holly my prayers and thoughts are with you at this sad, sad time. God will be walking beside you as you grieve. ❤️❤️❤️
