Bill was a great friend to me, when he hired me at Carroll County General Hospital, he changed my life forever, I stayed at Carroll County Hospital for 38 years thanks to Bill. we also worked at Saint Agnes hospital together prior to him moving to Carroll County Hospital. Bill will be missed  😔

I have so many great memories of growing up with my big brother, Bill. I hope I can talk about Bill with many of his friends this evening.

I just wanted to let everyone know how good my Dad was at Magic and Entertainment.
One of my fondest memories of my Dad was at a Father’s Day Picnic that my dear Step Mom, Lois, arranged at a park one year when all our children were young.
The true highlight of the day was when my Dad performed a very impressive magic show and I truly was amazed at each trick, not having a clue how he was accomplishing each act. With Lois as his helper they amazed us for at least a 1/2 hour, with 2 tricks that have always baffled me and my memory of them seems to be photographic.
He had this small McDonalds bag and kept pulling more and more items out of it with the last being a giant straw that was about 3” round and about 10’ long. I still see them driving away with the long McDonalds Straw packed full length in their Honda minivan.
The best of all his tricks was when he ripped up a news paper and somehow meticulously folded onto itself until he shook it open and it was whole again.
My Dad performed this trick several times in front of me and I have no clue how he did any of his tricks to this day. Truly mesmerizing.
On a last note, I must mention the great help and support my Dad was for me when I started to have Spinal issues, as he did all he could to look out for me to make the right decisions. He attended all my Spinal Epidural appointments, prior to my need for my 1st Surgery and was there to support me through as many as he could.

My daughter and I knew Bill when he and Lois lived in the Perry Brook condos. My daughter was little when she first met them and loved talking with them. One day, she informed me that she knew who Mr. Heinrich really was - Santa Claus! She was sure of this as he not only looked the part but also loved children.  Furthermore, Bill and Lois would often travel right before Christmas, which only reaffirmed his true identity to my daughter.  Of course, my daughter was thrilled to believe that Santa lived right in our building, and in 2017, Bill (aka Santa Claus) and Lois (Mrs. Claus) attended my daughter's wedding, which is one of the last times we got to be with them. Meryem and I are deeply saddened to learn of Bill's passing, and our thoughts and prayers go out to Lois and his family. He was a wonderful person whom we will always remember. God Bless.

I was one of many caregivers that took care of Bill and Lois for almost 10 years.  Bill and Lois loved and cared for one another throughout their time together as husband and wife. They were always encouraging other people, and Bill had such a sense of humor that always left Lois and I in stitches! They have been such a blessing in my life! I have learned so much from them.

All of my prayers and thoughts are with the Heinrich and Smith families.  May God Bless you all at this difficult time.
