On April 4, 2026, William “Bill” Kotis, Sr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of the late Rachael M. “Rach” Kotis (nee Mallon); devoted father of Bill Kotis, Jr. and his wife Claire, Terri Kotis and her life partner Debbie Williams, George Kotis and his wife Cheryl, Jeanne Rauck, Vicki Kotis, and the late Alicia “Lisa” Kotis; cherished grandfather of Jude Stopford (Zach), Rachael Lindemore (Dan), Joshua Kotis (Mollie), Alicia Tolley (Travis B.), Lawren Tolley, Hannah McCall (Mason), Luke Kotis and Travis Kotis; loving great-grandfather of Terence Campbell, Caidance Walter, Everly Kotis, Rylee Tolley, Logan Brady, Jaxson Brady and the late Hazel Campbell; dear brother of Joseph Tischer (Christine), Mary “Pat” McKenna (Patrick), Mary Pope, and the late Barbara Ohl (the Late Eddie).
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236, on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 12-3PM, where a service Celebrating Bill’s Life will be held at 3PM.
