On October 23, 2025, Bill Wiley passed away. He was the beloved husband of Susan Wiley; devoted father of Mason Wiley and his wife Elizabeth, and Lindsay Wiley and her husband Tyson Navis; brother of Marc Wiley; brother-in-law of Michael Bowen and his wife Joanne, and the late Tish Swinglehurst and her late husband John; much loved uncle of Huttie, Rachael, Daniel, Marcie, Jason, and their families.
Bill was a decorated Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving from 1959-1967 as a Naval Aviator flying VA-4 Skyhawks with attack squadron 55 on the Coral Sea. After the Navy he was with Martin Marietta for his first career and retired as Senior Vice President of Finance. He then joined his wife Susan to form an M & A firm, Wiley and Associates for 25 years.
A Celebration of Bill's life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 2PM at Trinity Episcopal Church Long Green, 12400 Manor Rd. Glen Arm, MD 21057. The service will be followed by afternoon tea in the church parish hall.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to the two organizations most important to Bill.
