Zenia Huppert

Zenia Huppert, age 96, died at home March 25, 2023 wearing fresh makeup in case of visitors. She was born Zenobia Zenska in Ukraine to Piotr and Katherine Jarema, and immigrated with parents and sisters Anna (Hanushka) Kovach and Sally (Yaroslava) Armacost in 1930. She was the beloved wife of the late Bill Huppert for 70 years. “Zee” was a loving mother to three wildly different children: Andrea Huppert Soukup (Jerry), Jill Huppert (Brian Volck) and Mark Huppert (Lisa). She adored her grandchildren, Maria Volck, Peter Volck, Will Volck (Abby Chermely) and Leah Glace (Thomas). She was delighted by her great-grandchildren, Solomon and Vigo Glace, thrived among friends of all ages, and absolutely spoiled her kitty George.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the St. Michael Lutheran Church, 9534 Belair RD, Baltimore, MD 21236, on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 10:30AM to 11:00AM; at which time a funeral service will begin.
