Alice Mary Rittenhouse

Alice Rittenhouse, 91 of Novato passed away peacefully on October 27, 2014. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years Robert, her siblings Carl, Ralph, Ruth and Gerry and her son-in-law Mike Nelson. She leaves to mourn her daughters Ruthann, Jackie (Rob), Jill (John), son James, grandchildren Michelle, Brendan and Jamie, great grandchildren Jackson and Quinn, brothers Ed and Leo Perrott and many nieces and nephews.

She was a resident of Novato for 53 years and a member of Our Lady of Loretto parish. She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family, trips to Lake Tahoe, folk dancing and bingo. She was a sweet and generous person who enjoyed baking cookies and pies for friends and family and donating to the Helping Hands program at Our Lady of Loretto and the food bank at the Novato Human Needs Center. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11:00 am at Keaton’s Redwood Chapel, 1801 Novato Blvd, Novato. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice by the Bay in memory of Alice Rittenhouse.
