Betsy Juanita Cagle

Betsy Juanita Harris was born June 15, 1933 in Washington D.C. After graduating from Liberty High School, she attended Cortez Peters Business School. In 1952, she married George Davis Cagle, and they raised six children together. The family moved to Novato, California in 1967. She enjoyed a 30-year career in civil service, where she mostly worked at Hamilton Air Force Base as a Senior Administrative Budget Analyst on the flight line.

She enjoyed her family, friends, good food, music, her church, and going to the casino. She was an avid 49er's and Warrior’s fan. She was also a member of Concerned Parents of Novato. She is survived by four children: George Cagle Jr., Sherli Fitt (husband, Arnold Fitt), Michele China and Yvonne Cagle. She was preceded in death by her husband George Cagle Sr., daughter Gwen Cagle and her son Steven Cagle. Her brother Joseph Harris survives her. She also has twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Life will be held for Betsy Cagle on Saturday June 25, 2022 at 1pm. The Celebration of Life will take place at Keaton's Redwood Chapel of Marin, 1801 Novato Blvd, Novato, CA 94947
