Dorothy Margaret Bradley On February 16, 2010, Dorothy Margaret Bradley (nee Burgess), departed our world suddenly and unexpectedly while enjoying her daily stroll through her beloved neighborhood of Pacheco Valley on a brilliant and beautiful winter morning. Born in the small farming community of Ozark, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, on October 8, 1931, she was raised on a homestead until her graduation from Rudyard High School. After graduating as a registered nurse from St. Luke School of Nursing in Marquette, Michigan, she married Earl F. Bradley, a local Trout Lake boy who had returned home after serving overseas in the Navy. They lived happily together in Michigan, California, Virginia and Pennsylvania for over 32 years until Earl's equally sudden and unexpected passing in 1987. She leaves behind two bereaved sons: Earl Dennis and Steven Robert, and a devoted and loving daughter-in-law, Lisa Bobbio Bradley; but the light of her world and the pride of her life was her adored (and adoring) 19- year- old grandson, Brian Earl. Dorothy will also be long remembered and sorely missed by her sisters Jacqueline Starnes and Joyce Hatch and her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Kay Bradley of Michigan and a wide circle of other family, friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be at Keaton's Mortuary 1801 Novato Blvd. Visitation will be Friday, February 19 from 6:00-8:00 PM. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 20 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite charity is appreciated.
