Elizabeth Mercedes Kusick, age 90, of Novato California passed away on May 21, 2016. She was born in Baraga, Philippines on November 28, 1925. Elizabeth met her husband, Joseph F. Kusick during her travels to the United States. They married on February 5, 1955. A loving wife and mother, avid gardener and devout Catholic, she is survived by her husband, sons Joseph Jr. and John (Charlot), daughters Jeanne and Julie (Randy), six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a vigil at 6:30 PM at Keaton's Redwood Chapel in Novato. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on June 2nd at Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church in Novato. Donations to Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church in lieu of flowers are welcome.
