Emil (Sam) Renati Emil (Sam) Renati passed away March 2, 2012 at the age of 76 in Novato, CA. Emil was born in San Rafael and he was a resident of Novato for more than 56 years. Emil graduated from San Rafael High and attended St. Mary's College. He served in the U.S. Army. A 3rd generation builder of Renati Bros. Const. The son of the late Emil and Rose Renati (Compari). Emil was a member of: Native Sons, Elks Club, Novato Sanitary Board, Novato Druids and Dr. Insomnia Coffee Boy's. He was an avid outdoors man, pilot and world traveler. Emil is survived by his wife Xiu Li, who made him so very happy and took great care of him through his illness. He is also survived by his first wife of 25 years Beverly Renati (Moreda), daughter Lisa Renati-Towery (Reid), son Tony Renati (Stacey), daughter Gina Renati-Garcia (David), grandchildren Justin and Alyssa Garcia, Dawnyel and Cristany Renati, Tyler and Andrew Towery. Brother Ronald Renati (Eleanor), nephews Ron, Danny and Denny Renati, many cousins and dear friends as well. A celebration of Emil's life will be held at the Novato Druids on April 1, 2012 at 1:00pm.
