James Eugene Neighbors

James Eugene Neighbors of Cloverdale, California, passed away on May 24th, 2022 at the age of 81. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Juanita, and a brother, John Neighbors. He is survived by his children, Reginald James Neighbors, Kevin Joseph Neighbors and Brett Dalton Neighbors as well as his grandchildren, Jessica Ann Neighbors and Jacob Raymond Neighbors (Kevin's children). Jim is also survived by his two ex-wives, Sheri Neighbors and Gail Morril, who remain friends.

Jim worked all his life as a successful carpenter and contractor. He built over 150 homes in the city of Novato. He was passionate about his work, and overcame much adversity to build a legacy his family can be proud of. He was an avid golfer, having been a member at the Indian Valley Golf Club with his wife Gail for 20 years. He loved seeing the world on tropical vacations after having taken multiple vacations to Disneyland with his boys.

In his retirement years, Jim was an active member of the Clover Springs Del Webb Community in Cloverdale. He enjoyed swimming, bocce ball and other community activities.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Private Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
