Dear Heather, Nicole and all of Lolita's Family.  I met Lolita in 1948 ... we were both about to turn 4 years old when our parents moved into new homes on Verde Street in Riverside. Our families were only a few houses from each other and, along with our friend Gail Scudder who lived across the street, the three of us attended Kindergarten through the 6th Grade together. Our parents were all great friends and took turns carpooling us to school on cold and rainy days.

Mrs. Francis, as I knew her in 3rd grade, was one of my favorite teachers. Warm, fun, patient and helped make a tricky adjustment for a small kid at a new, very different school. She holds a place in my heart and memories to this day. I want to thank her for her contribution in my life and undoubtably countless others.

Lolita will always be in my heart.  I love her.  We met when both of us had little babies and my life is better for having known her.  We had so much fun. Lotes had an amazing sense of humor.  Her spirit continues in her beautiful daughters and beloved grandchildren.  I hope today is a celebration of the special being that Lolita was.

Our sincere love and condolences to Heather, Nicole and the rest oF Lita's family.  Lita always had a bright smile, a twinkle in her eye and a loving heart.  Her engaging sense of humor, wonderful stories and warm personality drew people to her and made all of us feel loved, welcomed and safe. She brought out the best in everyone. Sincere heartfelt sympathy to Lolita's wonderful family.  It was a pleasure working with Lolita for eight years at Lynwood and I'm very sorry we didn't see each other after retirement.  I've thought of her many times over the years.  She will be missed by so many.

Lolita was a gift to all of us.  This picture of her captures the joy she brought to so many!  She will be missed.  My thoughts & prayers are with all of you.

This is a wonderful picture of Lolita and is exactly as I will remember her.  I loved working with her and missed her when she retired.  She taught me so much and our lunchroom was always filled with laughter when she was there.  RIP, dear Lolita!

Lolita was not just both of my children's much loved 3rd grade teacher, she was my amazing mentor, colleague, and friend.  Her warmth and incredible sense of humor was much missed when she retired and even more missed now.  My deepest condolences to her lovely family.

She raised two amazing daughters and I am sure she will be proud of you all forever!
