Dear Monica, 
I miss your infectious smile and laugh. I will always remember our talks over eggs, pancakes, bacon, and hot chocolate with whip cream; your odd fear of animals, especially my cat (ok, he wasn't exactly small being 20lbs);and your eagerness to learn new things, from computers to what was and how to use an ice scraper.

I recall the first day I actually met you ; it was at
NHS! I had seen u but never had gotten the chance 
To meet you. I am glad I met you?. You were the sweetest , kindest, and hearted person to me in school, and thatI have met! I recall yor words and telling me that I had your shoulder to cry on if I ever needed it and that u were there for me if I ever needed anything! I will miss runing into you and joking around that u were my cuñada because of my little sis and ur little bro being the same age, lol! I am still in disbelief you are gone, but I will maybe realize one day when, I no longer run into you?? Si Dios me lo permite te prometo q le contare a tu hija lo gran persona q fuiste y si me lo permite tu familia tengo mucha ropa de niña para tu hija!  Sera dificil explicarle por q te fuiste, pero Dios es muy sabio y el sabe por q pasan las cosas. y a su debido tiempo ella entendera q su mami se fue a un lugar mas bonito q en el q vivimos nosotros aqui! Que descanses en paz amiga, siempre te recordare como eras tu alegre, y muy amistosa y le doy gracias a Dios por ver tenido el gusto en conocerte y haber compartido, ratos inolvidables.

Dear Monica, you might not remember me, but I remember you as a lovely spirit. I am a friend of your sister, Imelda, and I was honored to join you at your 18th birthday party at the Viking in Novato. Don't know how you managed to get your b-day celebration there as an 18-year old, but hey, props to you for that!! I remember you with your hair down and a "poof," rocked a pretty pink satiny short dress and there were balloons and your dad was there and friends and all were happy to be around you. You were lively and sweet and full of happiness. Especially your sisters and dad were so excited to celebrate your birthday, I felt the love in the room and all the while I partied there with you. Rest in peace, I know you are an angel watching over us all now. God bless you.

Your smile shined so bright. It will forever be remembered.  And forever cherished. I am in utter shock. You are beyond loved monica. And i prey for you and your families happiness and comfort. <3
