Stephanie C. Greigg

Stephanie Greigg Age 87, of Novato, passed from this world on Jan. 28, 2011. Her family was with her as she made her beautiful, final journey. She is now at peace and has joined her beloved husband, once again. A coal miner's daughter, that left her childhood home in the mountains of Pennsylvania, to see the world. She met the love of her life, USAF Col. Robert T. Greigg (RET), at a dance in New York. Traveling the world with her husband's career, and growing family, Stephanie endeared herself to everyone she met, and finally settled at Hamilton AFB, in Novato where she met many of the people that became lifelong friends. Stephanie was a regular at the Marin Farmers' Market for the last 20 years, and it truly was a high point to her weekly schedule. She was also an avid "sale-er" and scanned the papers in search of the best addresses for her Saturday adventures. Stephanie was a dedicated volunteer at The American Cancer Society's Discovery Shop for many years and was instrumental in the founding of Hospice of Marin Thrift Store in Novato, where she spent many hours volunteering. Stephanie was loved very much by everyone she knew, especially her family.

She leaves behind her two children: Sue Cipollina-LaFlamme (Tom) and Bobby Greigg (Debbie), her grandchildren: Carlo (Sarah) and Gina Cipollina, and Ryan and John-Thomas Greigg, Nicki Artieres Demattei, Brant Demattei, and Griffin LaFlamme and a large extended family of friends. A viewing will be held at Keaton's in Novato at 1801 Novato Blvd, on Thursday, Feb. 3 from 6:00-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Valley Memorial Park, 650 Bugeia Lane, Novato, on Friday, Feb. 4 at 11:00 a.m. followed by the burial. Stephanie's family invites all of her friends, to a celebration of her life at the clubhouse at Villa Entrada, 524 Entrada Dr, Novato, immediately following the service.
