TIMOTHY PATRICK TROY
December 10, 1966 – November 30, 2019
Timothy Troy, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on November 30 in Novato CA. Tim was born in San Francisco to Marty and Claire Troy on December 10, 1966. He is survived by his loving wife Annie, his sons Christopher (13), Jacob (11), and Nathan (10), his mother Claire, his sisters Erin, Colleen, and Sheila, and their families. Tim was predeceased by his father Marty.
Tim had a great interest in business and finance. He worked in the insurance industry for over 25 years and was loved and respected by all who worked with him. Nothing was more important to him than his Catholic Faith and his family. He served his community as a 4th degree Knight of Columbus, and of all of his accomplishments, the thing that he was most proud of was being Christopher, Jacob and Nathan’s Dad. Playing golf with his sons was one of his greatest joys.
His family dubbed him “the master BBQer” - One could often find him grilling for his family and friends in the yard and garden he worked to make flourish. He loved sharing a nice bottle of wine or a glass of scotch and debating all things politics, Catholicism, and culture. An incredibly smart and passionate man, Tim showed his greatness of character being able to debate and argue ideas while always maintaining love and respect for people.
Tim will be sincerely missed by his family and friends who request your presence with them in prayer this week.
