Vinny was born in San Francisco to loving parents Gael and Julio (Jay) Ayala on August 25,1987. He graduated from Marin Catholic High School in 2005 and the University of Missouri in 2010 with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
A talented chef and musician, Vinny loved animals, Bay Area Sports teams, and most of all his 23 nieces and nephews who will miss their Uncle Vinny everyday.
He will be forever loved by his parents and 6 siblings: Gina Claxton (Al), Elizabeth Harris (Matthew), Dominic Ayala (Adriana), Clare Gebhardt (Bobby), Catherine Peters (Curt), and Tony Ayala.
A Rosary will be prayed for Vinny on Monday, January 2 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 1000 Cambridge Street in Novato. A Funeral Mass will immediately follow at St. Anthony’s at 11:00 a.m. The Rite of Committal will take place privately at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael on Tuesday, January 3rd.
