Yvonne Perachiotti

Yvonne Perachiotti Passed away peacefully on January 23, 2014 at the age of 95. Born in Novato October 28, 1918, Yvonne Lydia Rodoni was the youngest child of Novato Pioneers, Lindo and Laura Rodoni. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Milton and Lloyd Rodoni and sister, Gladys Hugo. With no high school in Novato, the Rodoni kids took the train to San Rafael High School, where she graduated in 1936. In December 1942, while working at Hamilton AFB, Yvonne met Frank Perachiotti, who was stationed there. They married six weeks later and were together 59 years until his death in 2002. Nicknamed Pinina, meaning "little one", she loved taking care of her family and family dinners were a treat. She and Frank had two sons: Frank Perachiotti, Jr. (Julie) of Novato and Jon Perachiotti, of Los Angeles. In addition to her sons, she is survived by three grandchildren; Mia Cara Perachiotti of San Francisco, Laura Stout (Josh) of Boulder, Colorado and Tony Perachiotti (Colette) of Novato, plus three great-grandchildren; Mattingly Germack, and Dominic and Tyler Perachiotti. Yvonne will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Interment will be private, but donations in her name can be made to: The Godmothers of Timothy Murphy School, 1 St. Vincent Dr. San Rafael, CA 94903. Private Family Services are being held at Valley Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Keaton's Redwood Chapel.
