

Mark “Bubba” Anderson died peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 17, 2012. He had been in failing health for several years. Mark was born January 17, 1957, in San Jose, California, the fourth son of James and Marilyn (Nelson) Anderson. He graduated from Monta Vista High School in Cupertino, California and attended DeAnza Community college. He was an active outdoorsman, enjoying boating, fishing, and especially crabbing. He was a NASCAR enthusiast. He joined his brothers as they all earned the Eagle Scout award. He was employed as a carpenter in Seattle and since 2003 in Oak Harbor.
Known to his friends a “Bubba”, Mark was preceded in death by his father, James and two of his brothers, Bruce and Steve. He is survived by his mother Marilyn (Nelson) Arnsberger, Oak Harbor, brother Duane (Margaret), Mountain View, California, sister Carol (Dean) Winship, Land O’ Lakes, Florida, a niece Heather Anderson,nephews Brian Anderson and Justin and Brent King. A celebration of Mark’s life will be on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 2-4 PM at the family home.
