

Thomas LaFountain was born on September 7th, 1937 in San Pedro, California, to Elmer and Alice LaFountain. He passed away on January 23rd, 2017 in Oak Harbor. He served at NAS Whidbey, and was a business owner, running both a construction company and an auto repair service. He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight and a half years, Grace LaFountain; his children, Thomas LaFountain and his wife Melody of Roy, WA, and Gavy LaFountain and his wife Delma, of Lacey, WA; grand-children Antoinette LaFountain, Danielle Sadler (Cori), Ashley Ganderson (Erik), Thomas LaFountain, Timothy LaFountain, Alexandra LaFountain, and Keith Davis (Crystal); and great-grandchildren Alaina LaFountain, Alicia DeNoble, Jericho Davis and Austen and Ole Gunderson. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, five brothers and one sister. There will be a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, February 11th at the Elks Club in Oak Harbor, from 1p.m. to 4p.m. Grace would like to thank all the friends and family that were there for she and Thomas during their trying times, as well as thank all their friends at Burger King in Oak Harbor who were so good to them.
