Gramma, I have so many wonderful memories with you. Lunch at The Patio, countless weekends with you, trips to visit people, trips to see my Dad. We always had so much fun. You would listen to the new age music with me and just pat your hand on your leg to the beat. I miss you so much already. Things won't be the same without you. Thank you for always being there for us through everything. I hope you know how much it meant to us. I love you bunches always.

My entire life I have had excellent neighbors living next to my parents home. Mrs. Davison was no exception. The light she exuded was enough to draw anyone in. One particular afternoon my husband and I were picking our son up and Mrs. Davison was on her early afternoon trek to get her mail, and flagged me down. “Hello Ashlee how are you?” She said to me with such warmth. “I’m great gorgeous how about you?” I reply. The big smile that replaced her expression would be enough to make anyone feel blessed. “Oh don’t you flatter me!” She says to me between fits of giggles. “Never” I replied with a wink. I accompanied Mrs. Davison to her garage and we sat and chatted for hours on a nice summer day. It was always really easy to talk to her. She was so open and nonjudgmental. We would trade stories as if we were old friends catching up. Some of my favorite memories would be of her and her son (Allen) having one of their trademark conversations in which Mrs Davison would roll her eyes and smile at her son. A mother’s love I always said to myself. I will miss her dearly. She meant a lot to my family in just a year of knowing her. But I am eternally grateful to have had that special time with her. She was like another grandmother to me. And I loved her just like one. My sincere condolences reaches to the entire family. Earths brightest angel is now where she belongs.
