Ann was born November 11, 1933 in Peoria, Illinois then later moved to Oaklawn, Illinois
where she married and raised her family. Ann worked as a nurse assistant at Christ Hospital in Oaklawn caring for others until her retirement. After her retirement, Ann enjoyed living in Texas, Nevada and Florida before returning home to Illinois. Ann was an adored daughter, precious sister, loving wife and loved mother, aunt, grandmother and friend.
Those who met Ann know she enjoyed going to church, traveling and spending time with her dear friends and family. She loved daisies, ice cream, big macs and celebrating holidays. Especially birthdays and Christmas where she would be seen wearing a funny hat and laughing out loud.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Jean Burnette, her husband, Frank McGushin, son Scott
Muehlhausen and sister-in-law Barbara Burnett. She leaves behind to celebrate her life, three sons, Robert
Muehlhausen and wife Jj (Powell, OH), Steven Muehlhausen and wife Earlene (Plainfield, IL), Russell
Muehlhausen; six grandchildren, Robert, Kathleen, Steven Jr., Cody, Karl and Brenda; 19 great grandchildren; one brother, Col.(ret.) Clark Burnett; two nieces, one great nephew and her dear friends.
Due to the restrictions related to the Covid-19, private family services will be conducted. A celebration of life will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home on November 14, 2020 at 12:00 pm . In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Chicago Firefighters Widows and Orphan Fund in Ann’s honor.
