Arlene M. Hantson, nee Hosteva, age 89, of Mauston, WI, formerly of Burbank, IL passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. Beloved Wife of the late Maurice for a loving 56 years. Devoted Mother of the late Donald Sr. (Barbara). Proud Grandmother of Donald Jr. (Julie) and Amanda; and Great-Grandmother (Grandma Pumpkin) of Aidan, Ryan, Peyton, Addison, Emerson, Camdan, Carrington, Nolan, Greyson, and Pemberton. Dear Daughter of the late Henry and Christine.
Arlene was a beloved teacher in Burbank School District 111 for 37 years. She was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and taught boating safety in Wisconsin. She was an avid reader and gardener, and remained active until her passing.
A Visitation for Arlene will take place Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 S. Central Ave. Oak Lawn, IL 60453. A Chapel Service will follow directly at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery.
