Barbara L. Surchik

She married the love of her life, Tom Surchik, on November 23, 1963. Together they shared a lifetime of love, devotion, and cherished memories.

Barb was the devoted and best mom to her daughter, Laura Casey, and son-in-law Tim Casey, whom she loved as a son; and to her son, Mark Surchik. She was a proud and loving grandmother of five and a treasured great-grandmother of two, finding great joy in every moment spent with her family.

A longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Barb's faith was the foundation of her life. She loved the Lord deeply and lived with kindness, compassion, and grace, touching the lives of all who knew her.

Barb is now safe, happy, and healthy in the presence of God, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. Though her family and friends will miss her deeply, they find comfort in knowing she is at peace. Her love, unwavering faith, and gentle spirit will remain in their hearts forever. She will be deeply missed and loved always.

A visitation will be held for Barbara at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6850 W. 159th St. Tinley Park, IL 60477 Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will be private.
