Barry Paul Quilhot, 62,

loving father of Gabrielle Renee, grandfather of Sadie, brother of Maureen, uncle of Jon and Sarah, son of Jean and John, husband of Sue, and one of the original "Rejects", passed away January 29, 2015, surrounded by friends and family. A lifelong Cubs fan, he attended over 25 consecutive opening days in the bleachers, as well as the first night game at Wrigley with a group of close friends. Barry was a rabid music fan, attending as many concerts as he could, in addition to playing bass in various garage bands since he was in high school. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1970. He was the first athlete from Hillcrest to compete at the state level and attended ISU on a cross country scholarship. As an adult, he completed multiple marathons and qualified to run Boston. He enjoyed playing golf, skiing, traveling, talking about world and personal events, reading, and cooking. He lived life to the fullest. He will be sorely missed.
