Beverly J Sumner

Beverly J. Sumner (Kurzawa), a faithful woman who loved the Lord and her family went to her heavenly home on Sunday January 9, 2022 at the age of 90. Beverly was the oldest of 5 children, Joseph, Marlene, Sharon and the late William, born to the late Joseph and Lorraine (Spear) on August 31, 1931.

In June of 1948, she married the love of her life, Albert W. Sumner who proceeded her in death in 1982. Together they raised 6 children. She was the beloved mother of Ronald (Shelia), Andrew (Janis), Lori (Gary), Lisa and the late Albert (Kate) and the late Gregory.

She has 8 grandchildren; Jennifer, Justin, Jared, Nicole, Albert, Sarah, Alecia and Kristen along with 18 great-grandchildren.

Beverly and her husband started attending The Stone Church in Palos Heights where they both accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and became very involved in the various ministries and was known by her family and friends as a prayer warrior.

Beverly daily read the bible and devotionals, and enjoyed supporting Christian ministries and watching Christian programming on TV. Her main goal in life was to witness about Christ to others, and continuously lift others in prayer.

She touched many lives with her love and care and will be greatly missed by those she left behind. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
